Gotta sit back and unwind!” Summer buzz is in full swing here at the Sock It To Me headquarters and we got to talking about all our fav things for the season! Although your feet MIGHT be in (ahem) sandals… we know you can never go too long before you need some socks! The summer makes us want to throw on our cutest Sock It To Me’s, jump on our bikes, hike up that mountain, and keep our toes warm by the campfire.

6. Favorite Summer Sweet Treat: Strawberry shortcake with homemade biscuits. YUM!
7. Favorite Summer Activity: Gardening! There’s such amazing flora in Portland. There are blossoms, plants and veggie gardens galore!
8. Favorite Summer Outfit: Sundresses, and dare I say flip flops!?!?

I like summer so much – I moved to Hawaii to make it a permanent staple in my life! After all – this way I can wear skirts and shorts year around that show off my great socks!!!
Summer socks are all about fun! Cartoons, animals, fruit, etc., I love them all. 🙂

What isn’t to love about summer? Hot days, being outdoors, the beach, good fruit, cold drinks… And as I live in San Francisco, socks are perfect for the summer, where it’s more temperate and requires more layering.
Summer is the best season of the year. I love the funny tan lines my socks give me! 😀
Summer is a time when my socks and me can just sit in the moonlight and not be ridiculed. Of course the tan can be quite nice too.
I love summer becuase I can stay up until 12(or later), then sleep until 12. I love being with family and friends. Summer means short short and watermelon and being happy. I love the way the fireflies look glow in the tall grass and how it smeels when it storms. I love summer!

I love summer because that is when some of my favorite foods come into season- like watermelon and corn on the cob! I miss the corn on the cob that you can get in the Midwest (corn country!), but the stuff in SoCal is also pretty good! I just love that there is so much more good food around to eat! It’s easier to eat healthy in summer, because everything tastes sooooo good!
Summer is fantastic because someone is always on vacation so you can sit around at work and fill out online contests and no one will notice!…….. you always need socks because the air conditioning makes my toes cold and nothing looks more killer with a pair of 6″ yellow suede platform sandals than candy colored socks with elephants.
I love summer because I love the long days of LIGHT! I get up at 4:30 everyday and I want to soak up every waking minute of the day..I especially love summer mornings in my back yard and ending my day thee too….and of course my birthday is July 5th…Oregon’s official first day of summer! 🙂
