Gotta sit back and unwind!” Summer buzz is in full swing here at the Sock It To Me headquarters and we got to talking about all our fav things for the season! Although your feet MIGHT be in (ahem) sandals… we know you can never go too long before you need some socks! The summer makes us want to throw on our cutest Sock It To Me’s, jump on our bikes, hike up that mountain, and keep our toes warm by the campfire.

I love summer because it’s behaving like a proper Summer here: it’s sunny, warm, and things are finally growing again! I would love to win the summer sock picks because then I could bring Summer with me when I’m stuck inside for class during this last summer of grad school. 😀
It might seem a somewhat conceited reason at first, but I think what I love most about summer is my birthday, July 30th.
It’s not because of the presents or congratulations or anything, though–well, presents are nice, of course, and I feel so very happy when all my friends and family wish me a happy birthday. But it’s really because I love going outside and looking up at the summer sky, and thinking how lucky I am that I got to see that same sky all those years ago, on my very first day here in the world. It might be clear or cloudy or rainy, and I might be miles and miles away from where I was born, but it’s always the same sky no matter what.
And it’s nice to take a walk outside on my birthday and just look at the sky and the trees, and hear birds singing and the wind in the leaves. The only thing that makes these walks even more perfect is my cute blue shoes and a pair of adorable socks–which I can never get enough of, I think about half my birthday wishlist is Sock It To Me socks! So I’d love to win a few pairs, so I can wear them on my birthday and make my 24th year of looking at the bright summer sky that much more wonderful. 😀

I love summer! The heat of the sun, the cool pool water, and sun tans. Summer is awesome! Plus, every 4th of July we have a family reunion and get to see loved ones that we don’t live near.

Although summer is my least favorite of the seasons (probably because it gets to 110 * F where I live) it has some perks that none of the other seasons have in quite the abundance of summer. I love BBQ/pool parties with friends and family, early morning trips to the farmer’s market for fresh fruits and veggies, and of course the dazzling light show we get every year for the 4th of July. I also love how refreshing a cold beverage is in the summer….mmmmmmmm.
What I love about summer is going to live shows and festivals,(wearing a pair of my favorite knee highs from SITM), going to my kids baseball and softball games. I wore my lucky ninja socks for my daughters softball tournament , they won all six games and the championship! I run Herecomesthesocks Exchange on facebook, and the last exchange of the summer, I switch it up to flip flops, I take July and August off, but still rock all my sock it to me socks all summer long, my sock sisters love your socks! I am proud to rock n advertise your socks, great quality, affordable and so cute!!! I NEED THEM ALL, and if I ever get duplicates in my exchange, I run a contest and give away to my sock sisters….<3

My favorite part of summer is going to see my aunt in California and then going to the Sock it To Me store to stock up for the next school year 😀
There’s something special about the first time the temperature crosses 80 degrees. You can feel it, not just on your bare shoulders but in the air.
I would like to win the socks because I’ll give them to my cousin who teaches very young children who love all the crazy ones she wears. 🙂
I love when it is warm enough that popsicles are the best most perfect food in the world, and all you want to do is laze on the beach and swim. These socks would look super awesome with a summery skirt, for sure and for truly. 🙂
I love summer, because of Tuesday adventures! For the last five years, my friends and I have taken Tuesday off of work all summer. We adventure across Long Island, sometimes even venturing to Brooklyn + the city for a specific event. We even drove to New Jersey for SONIC once (yes, for fast food. crazy, but super fun road trip). Most of the time is spent relaxing in our backyards, laying in the grass + enjoying nature.
I would like to win Carrie’s sock picks, because they would work wonderfully with my new floral Doc Martens, which I plan on wearing a lot this summer, when I am not in flip flops or running around barefoot. Most of my socks are knee-length solid colored or argyle + I definitely need more socks with a fun print!
