New York Fashion Week Spring 2013!

We love watching all of the crazy new trends emerging on the runway and making bets on which ones will actually catch on!  Last week – like all of the fashion industry – we were closely tuned into New York’s Fashion Week, and we’re crossing our fingers that a couple of our favorite styles become all the craze!

STRIPES

This one’s a no-brainer!  Stripes can be classic and elegant while also being fun and casual. Check out all of these crazy black-and-white stripes straight from the runway!

Sock It to Me just released our very own version of the black-and-white stripe trend with our BRAND NEW women’s over-the-knee sock!

Of course, we also have tons of other great striped patterns for both men and women! Check out these brand new rainbow-striped over-the-knee socks!

Both the “Mondo Guerra Houndstooth” and “Sunset Tree” are funky spin-offs of traditional stripes.

 

PRINTS

Prints have been all the craze for a couple of seasons now, and we just can’t get enough!  The possibilities are endless with color and design (two of our favorite things)!  Here a few of our favorite from last week:

AQUATICS

We’ve seen this trend popping up in all over the recent Design-a-Sock Contests (and we’re hoping to see more in the Portland-only contest happening right NOW)!  For last week’s Fashion Week, many of the designers used the colors of the ocean.  How beautiful are these dresses!

Three of our favorite NEW socks are the “Jellyfish” and “Squid-o” (in both men’s & women’s!).
