MOWP: Stride for Seniors

Meals on Wheels People is hosting its largest fundraising event of the year: Stride for Seniors on April 24, 2021! We’ve been partnering with MOWP for over a year, donating one SITM face mask for every face mask purchased on our site. In 2020, we donated 10,000 face masks, and have donated 500 thus far this year.

We’re thrilled to share their upcoming event; MOWP is an incredible organization that enriches the lives of seniors and assists them in maintaining independence by providing not only meals, while also offering human connections and social support. Anyone over the age of 60, regardless of income, is eligible to dine at a center or to receive delivered meals.

This walk is a fantastic community building event, where all donation proceeds will be reinvested in our community to provide meals and friendly visits to older adults who participate in the programs of Meals on Wheels People.

MOWP has reimagined their walk to safely incorporate both in-person and online activation points for walkers and teams, so you can get involved in multiple ways.

Create a team with your coworkers, friends, or family! Or walk alone and make some new friends! Once you create your team, you’ll get a personalized link to a donation page that you can share. MOWP is less than $50k from their fundraising goal!

Participate online by donating, sharing fundraising links, registering to “Stride in Spirit,” or by watching the livestreamed Closing Ceremonies.
